This project is a sound redesign of a scene from Chernobyl, focused on creating a realistic and immersive sonic environment that enhances the tension, atmosphere and emotional weight of the narrative. Working from a detailed creative brief, I developed a soundscape that not only supports the on-screen action but also serves a clear artistic objective, ensuring that every audio element contributed to the scene’s dramatic impact. Through the use of custom sound effects, ambience and detailed audio editing, the original soundtrack was reimagined to enhance the atmosphere and highlight the subtle, unknowing dread of the scene.
testimonial
"Excellent work. The use of ambient textures has a signature sound, and the composition responds to the brief and narrative of the scene. The sound of analog tape artefacts is fitting with the period and gives the piece a unique character that blends with the cinematography and production design." - Paul Jebanasam (Lecturer at Bath Spa University)

Work
Throughout my final year at Bath Spa University, I developed a strong passion for film audio and interactive media, creating a portfolio of re-scored scenes and trailers from well-known films and video games. Through these projects, I strengthened my skills in sound design, audio editing, mixing and synchronisation, while gaining a deeper understanding of how sound enhances storytelling and audience engagement. These experiences have provided me with a solid foundation in audio production and creative problem-solving. I am eager to build upon the skills and knowledge I have developed, gain further hands-on experience within the industry, and continue refining my craft while contributing to professional film, television and interactive media projects.
This project is a complete re-score and sound redesign of the Dead Space game trailer, exploring cinematic tension, atmosphere and immersive audio storytelling. To capture the game's horror, isolation and psychological intensity, I combined dissonant synth textures with a high-energy compositional style that gradually evolves into a heavier, metal-inspired sound. The project showcases my skills in composition, sound design, editing and audio mixing, demonstrating how audio can enhance narrative impact and on-screen intensity.
This project is a complete re-score of the Our Planet Netflix trailer, created to capture the scale, beauty and wonder of the natural world. Using atmospheric pads and delicate piano melodies, I established a sense of tranquillity that gradually builds into a powerful crescendo, reflecting the trailer’s emotional and visual progression. The project showcases my versatility as a composer and sound designer, demonstrating my ability to adapt to different styles, moods and narratives.
This project is a re-score of the Heaven Knows What trailer, directed by Josh Safdie and Benny Safdie. The film explores the harsh realities of addiction through a dark and emotionally intense narrative. To reflect these themes, I used powerful opening chords to establish a sense of vulnerability before gradually building into a more manic and visceral soundscape that mirrors the chaos, desperation and emotional turmoil of the story.
